Carrying on the Vision
Dear Friends and Saints of Tabernacle of Joy,
The Divine Author recently paused to dip the quill tip of His pen into the ink of the Spirit as He closed the beautiful chapter of Sister Willoughby’s life. But the book for our lives is not finished. Her chapter was filled with battles and victory, pain and triumph. She blessed us with a powerful prophetic ministry and her prayers of faith grew our relationships with God and helped bring Tabernacle of Joy to this hour of harvest. Her labour and sacrifice will not be wasted, for His hand now poises over the pages of our chapter as He cries out to each of us: “Arise, and cross over!”
When Moses’ chapter was finished, the Divine Author also spoke this to the Joshua generation, saying, “Moses My servant is dead. Now therefore, arise, go over…[and] every place your foot will tread upon I have given you…[for] as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you…[so] be strong and very courageous.” The Joshua generation was without equal in history, for they conquered cities, destroyed giants, stormed strongholds in mountains and even stopped the rotation of the earth for several hours with prayer.
As the church, we are facing the reality that Sister Willoughby is no longer with us. That doesn’t mean that the vision dies, but it means that the strategy has to change. Remember that this Church is not built on a personality, for Jesus said, “Upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail” (Matt. 16:18). Tabernacle of Joy will continue to send out mission teams, build churches and training facilities and set up Bible schools in other nations. Tabernacle of Joy will continue to bless this wonderful nation of Singapore. And, TJ will do so with a team attitude, a team mindset and with team ministries.
The days of Divine favour and blessing are upon us. The days of strength and life are ours. So we will “Arise” and go possess the nations for the Kingdom of God, for we are the Antioch of the East—Impacting Millions of Lives.
