Updates OCTOBER 14, 2009
Dear Friends of the Willoughby Family and Tabernacle of Joy,
Bishop Willoughby and his family continue to stand in the faithful love of God. As the Scripture states: “He is the faithful God who keeps his covenant for a thousand generations and lavishes his unfailing love on those who love him and obey his commands” (Deuteronomy 7:9 NLT). During the past months, God released this unfailing love upon the Willoughby family and Tabernacle of Joy.
Indeed, the Lord has revealed His faithfulness and love to Singapore and Asia through the Willoughby’s unwavering faith in the Him. Bishop Willoughby is now in his second round of oral chemotherapy and experiencing minimal side effects to the treatment. At the end of his third round, an assessment will be made to determine the effectiveness of the treatment.
Prayer Pointers:
- That only the cancer cells will be targeted by the chemotherapy, and that the healthy T cells will increase,
- For increased mobility in his legs and increased strength in his shoulders and arms, and that there will be no pain in his body.
A famous playwright once stated that “life is partly what we make it, and partly what it is made by the friends we choose.” Tabernacle of Joy is walking each day believing for Bishop Willoughby’s complete healing, and we at Tabernacle of Joy are thankful for all our friends who continue to join us in upholding him in fasting and in daily prayers of faith.
